The Light Within

I'm always delighted at the creative, artistic flair displayed in the Czech Republic. While it's owned by a Spanish firm, the lobby of the Comsa Palace Hotel in Brno, Czech Republic is a fine example of the surprising touches in CZ. This public space is especially impressive at night with modern, lighted acrylic furniture mixed with classic designs.

A lucite tree sculpture is just one of the delightful details:

Walking through the area is both an exciting and soothing experience—exciting, I suppose, for its novelty and soothing due to the quality or perhaps position of the lights. This is a nice hotel and the prices in March were quite reasonable, making it a great destination for a weekend excursion from Vienna.

  1. We were in the Prague a few months ago and loved it. So beautiful!

Perhaps you would like to join me for my Expat Blog Linky Party on March 19th? Hope to see you then, if not sooner.
