Girl in the Cherry Dress

Barcelona, Spain
Atop Montjuic, in front of the National Art Museum, is a large seating area—a great place to hear musicians play while enjoying panoramic vistas of the city. This woman, in her cherry print dress, pink sweater and unmissable red legs added to the festive atmosphere.

Artistic By-Product

Across from Vienna's Aderlaaer U-Bahn station, the elements at a construction site—rusting metal barriers, green plastic fencing and other metal, concrete and plastic materials–are arranged with a certain artistic flair.

Happy Apartment

Peeking out from the shadows, this white apartment building, especially this time of year in the warm sunshine, with the flowering and budding trees in front, makes me happy just to see it.

Signs of Bratislava

Spring is in the Vienna Air

From sun umbrellas at Schönbrunn Palace...

to willow and eggshell bouquets at Cafe Central...

to sunshine on decorated eggs at Naschmarkt...

...confectionary eggs and flowers at Oberlaa...

and colorful tulips at Nashmarkt...

everywhere in Vienna are signs we'll soon be free of boots and coats, gray skies and gray moods. Love it!
