I love open air museums and Stockholm has one of the oldest and one of the best. The homes, farms, stores, workshops and churches of Skansen were brought from all over Sweden in 1891 by Artur Hazelius. We made a quick trip there this time but the low sun and soft shadows on the colorful wood facades made for a delightful afternoon and a resolve to return.
