Spring on Wheels

The days are getting longer, the blackbirds are singing...spring must be just around the corner.  Or maybe it's parked on the street!  This car was cheering up passers-by in Vienna's Third District Saturday.

For other photos of unusual cars in Vienna, see one of my previous posts, here.

  1. Art cars are unusual in this part of the world. Enjoyed seeing this one. Spring is at least a month off for us, but should creep toward our mid-continent location.

    Great series of Swedish posts!

  2. If we're going to have cars, wouldn't the world be a better place if more cars were artsy? I've become a huge fan of mass transit here in Vienna, though. It's so nice not to have to drive anywhere in town. And thanks, Jeff, for your compliments and your comments. Always welcome!

  3. What a great car! There is a lady in Wpg who is an entertainer/music (guitar) teacher who has her car painted with flowers and also adds objects to it like the top part of trophies. It looks really neat but your car that you photographed is beautiful! I am so much enjoying all your photos of Stockholm - nice memories

  4. Elaine, you and Reg are such good photographers and you live in such a beautiful country, I wish you would start a blog or make more books (or something) and share the fruits of your talents. I'd love to see this guitar teacher's car and am still wanting to see your hoarfrost photos as well. Stockholm seemed so different in the winter vs. the summer when we were there before but it certainly made me want to return for a third time to see and understand it better.

    Cheers!

  5. P.S. Elaine, I also remember some very entertaining cars in Texas, especially a big Cadillac with longhorns on the hood. Wish I had taken a photo!
