What is it that is so appealing about this charming area in the old section of downtown Vienna, this Ledererhof square near Am Hof? Maybe it's the building in the center, at an angle to the surrounding buildings...oh, yes, and the window boxes...and the lanterns...and the wrought iron sign...and the shutters...and let's not forget the cobblestones.
And then, if you look to the left, there's this structure that, at first glance, I thought was a series of modern balconies added onto an older building but because I couldn't see any floors except at the top, I'm going to guess it's art. Form without function?
