Driving a Loop around Inzell, Germany

We took a short road trip through the countryside and villages north of Inzell, Germany. All but two of these photos were taken from a moving car and through a dirty windshield (I love a challenge!). The buildings oozed character and charm:





The icicles were impressive but kind of scary:


A pretty hotel...and it served Tex-Mex food...or at least an approximation of it.


In the summer these balconies are typically overflowing with geraniums or petunaias:






I loved the landscape:





























Some signs do their part to provide that famous ‘sense of place.’





What is this? A speed limit sign for tanks? I’m wondering about the sense of place now.
