We took a ride through the Burgundy countryside in search of the source of the River Seine, passing rows of trees,
rolls of hay,
a barn overflowing with hay,
and resting cows.
The famous River Seine has its beginnings as not much more than a trickle in Burgundy.
The source is now under a grotto protected by a statue of Sequana, spirit of the Seine.
