Vienna. With Empress-like stars in her hair, a dress that could have been fashioned after Austrian window shades and her I Heart Vienna bag, she rests momentarily outside the Hofburg palace. I think she may work for the Vienna Tourist Board.
Perhaps she is off to a ball with her dancing shoes in the bag. Is that a pastry she has in her left hand? The men in the fountain seem to be having their own problems.
Works for me! Sadly we won't be able to come to Vienna this year for our usual visit to Christmas market but we will be with you in spirit and watching over the Rathaus webcam. I've found a shop in london to buy kaserkrainer, just need to find a recipe for Lions Club punsch.

ReplyDeleteI think it was a clipboard and pen in her hand but I like your supposition much better!

ReplyDeleteSorry you won't be able to be here in person...maybe next year. I will see if I can find you a recipe for Lion's Club punsch. Stay tuned.
DeleteI will, with fingers crossed!
