Nürnberg and their Christkindlesmarkt

Last year, determined to have a white Christmas, we headed to the Alps, taking a circuitous side trip to Nuremberg (Nürnberg) and Rothenberg in Germany. This is Nuremberg:

This is an awful photo but I'm glad I have it anyway because it shows how thick some of the hot chocolate is in parts of Europe. While served as a beverage, it's probably closer to what we'd classify as a pudding. Delicious!
